This is so True !! :)

This should probably be taped
to your bathroom mirror
where one could read it every day.
You may not realize it,
but it's 100% true.

1. There are at least two people in this world
that you would die for.

2.. At least 15 people in this world
love you in some way.

3. The only reason anyone would ever hate you
is because they want to
be just like you.

4. A smile from you can bring happiness to anyone,
even if they don't
like you.

5. Every night,
SOMEONE thinks about you
before they go to sleep.

6. You mean the world to someone.

7. You are special and unique.

8. Someone that you don't even know exists loves you.

9. When you make the biggest mistake ever,
something good comes from it.

10. When you think the world
has turned its back on you
take another look.

11. Always remember the compliments you received.
Forget about the rude remarks.

So...........
If you are a loving friend,
send this to everyone,
including the one that sent it to you.
If you get it back, then they really do love you.

And always remember....
when life hands you Lemons,
ask for Tequila and Salt and call me over!

Good friends are like stars........
You don't always see them,
But you know they are always there.

"Whenever God Closes One Door He Always Opens Another, Even Though
Sometimes It's Hell in the Hallway"

I would rather have one rose and a kind word
from a friend while I'm here
than a whole truck load when I'm gone.

Happiness keeps You Sweet,
Trials keep You Strong,
Sorrows keep You Human,
Failures keeps You Humble,
Success keeps You Glowing,
But Only
God keeps You Going

ADHD Child's Bill of Rights

ADHD Child’s Bill Of Rights

“Help me to focus”
“Please teach me through my sense of “touch”.
I need “hands on” and “body movement”.
“I need to know what comes next”
Please give me a structured environment where there is a dependable routine.
Give me an advanced warning if there will be changes.
“Wait for me, I’m still thinking”
Please allow me to go at my own pace.
If I rush, I get confused and upset.
“I’m stuck ! I cant do it !”
Please offer me options for problem-solving.
I need to know the detours when the road is blocked.
“Is it right? I need to know NOW!”
Please give me rich and immediate feedback on how I’m doing.
“I didn’t forget, I didn’t ‘hear’ it in the first place!”
Please give me directions one step at a time and ask me to
say back what I think you said.
“I didn’t know I Wasn’t in my seat!”
“Please remind me to STOP, THINK and ACT.”
Am I almost done now?
Please give me short work periods with short-term goals.
“What?”
Please don’t say “I’ve already told you that”.
Tell me again in different words.
Give me a signal. Draw me a symbol.
“I know, it’s ALL wrong, isn’t it?”
Please give me praise for partial success.
Reward me for self-improvement, not just for perfection.
“But why do I always get yelled at?”
Please catch me doing something right and praise me for my specific positive behaviour.
Remind me (and yourself) about my good points, when I’m having a bad day.
“I may be hard to live with, and have ADHD, but I still have
feelings and would have never chosen to behave like I do
sometimes”.

Children with adhd and odd and other special needs

My son, who is 7 yrs old, has Adhd and Odd and it's been an experience for my son that it just breaks our heart, to see the struggles that he goes through everyday of his life.... With a lot of love, hugs, understanding and getting him services, I starting to see some changes...

It's not going to be easy because each new day is something new with him but I make sure that he understand, that there are consequences in life, and if you do things that are not acceptable behavior then you will have to accept the consequences that you will have to deal with at school and at home...

Medication, well, that's another story because you have to keep trying different medication, until you find the one that works and that takes a lot of time....It's really annoying, that you have to have your child on medication, to help him focus and to help him with his behavior..

I've also created a website called, Children with adhd and odd and other special needs because I wanted other families to come and join me and express how they are coping with there children...

This site is dedicated to my son, Scottie and other families with children of special needs...And I can tell you that it has been a success.......Website: http://angie1001.tripod.com
To new beginings!!

How are you coping with your child adhd or odd??? How is your child coping with medication??? How is your child or children behavior in school??? You are not alone, let’s united as one and help each other and help our children...This is the place, where you can talk and express your concerns...

God bless,
Angie
